These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Visit Pertouli website and the booking and participation in tours, activities, experiences and other travel services offered through Visit Pertouli.
By using this website, making a booking or participating in an experience, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
1. About Visit Pertouli
Visit Pertouli is operated by:
Legal name: Visit Pertouli PC
Trading name: Visit Pertouli
Registered address: Pertouli
Email: info@visitpertouli.com
Telephone: +30 698 176 4200
Throughout these Terms, “Visit Pertouli”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the above business.
2. Scope of These Terms
These Terms apply to:
- use of visitpertouli.com and its content;
- bookings made directly through Visit Pertouli;
- tours, activities and experiences organised or sold by Visit Pertouli;
- services supplied by third-party operators where Visit Pertouli acts as an intermediary;
- packages or combinations of travel services where applicable.
Certain tours or services may also have specific booking conditions, cancellation policies, participation requirements or safety rules displayed on the relevant activity page or provided during the booking process.
Where specific conditions apply to a particular service, those conditions form part of your agreement with us and take precedence over these general Terms in relation to that service.
3. Booking and Contract Formation
A booking is considered confirmed once:
- the required booking information has been submitted;
- any required payment has been successfully completed; and
- you have received a booking confirmation from Visit Pertouli or the relevant booking platform.
It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact details and participant information when making a booking.
Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us as soon as possible if any information is incorrect.
The person making the booking confirms that they have the authority to make the booking on behalf of all participants included in it and accepts responsibility for communicating these Terms and any relevant activity requirements to them.
4. Prices and Payments
Prices are displayed in euros (€), unless otherwise stated.
The total price and any applicable taxes, fees or additional charges will be shown before the booking is completed.
For certain activities, prices may apply per vehicle, group, room or experience rather than per participant. The pricing basis will be clearly stated on the relevant service page.
Payment methods available at the time of booking may vary.
A booking is not confirmed until the required payment or deposit has been successfully received, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
5. Cancellations by the Customer
Cancellation conditions vary depending on the tour, activity, accommodation or travel service booked.
The cancellation policy displayed on the relevant service page and/or booking confirmation forms part of your booking agreement.
Where a service specifies, for example, that cancellation is fully refundable until 24 hours before departure and non-refundable thereafter, that specific policy will apply.
To cancel a booking, you must contact Visit Pertouli through the cancellation method specified in your booking confirmation.
The cancellation becomes effective when the cancellation request is received by us or by the relevant booking system.
Failure to attend an activity without prior cancellation (“no-show”) will normally result in loss of the amount paid, unless otherwise stated in the applicable booking conditions.
6. Changes and Cancellations by Visit Pertouli
Outdoor and mountain activities may be affected by weather, snow, trail conditions, road conditions, operational requirements, safety considerations or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Visit Pertouli or the activity operator reserves the right to:
- modify a route or itinerary;
- change the starting time or meeting point;
- substitute equipment where necessary;
- postpone an activity;
- cancel an activity when it cannot be operated safely or reasonably.
Where a significant change is made, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you as early as possible.
If an activity is cancelled by Visit Pertouli or the operator and no suitable alternative is accepted, you will normally be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the cancelled service, subject to any applicable package-travel or other mandatory consumer rights.
7. Weather and Mountain Conditions
Mountain weather can change quickly and conditions may differ significantly from those forecast.
The final decision regarding whether an activity can operate safely belongs to Visit Pertouli, the guide, instructor or relevant activity operator.
An activity will not normally be cancelled solely because of light rain, cloud, cold weather or other conditions that do not make participation unsafe.
Participants are responsible for arriving with appropriate clothing and footwear for the season and activity.
8. Participation Requirements
Each activity may have specific participation requirements concerning matters such as:
- minimum or maximum age;
- height or weight restrictions;
- physical fitness;
- previous experience;
- driving licence requirements;
- appropriate clothing and footwear;
- medical or health considerations;
- parental or guardian supervision.
These requirements will be stated on the relevant activity page where applicable.
You are responsible for ensuring that all participants in your booking meet the stated requirements.
Visit Pertouli, its guides and its activity partners reserve the right to refuse participation where a participant does not meet mandatory requirements or where participation could present a safety risk.
9. Health and Safety
Participants must follow all instructions provided by guides, instructors and activity staff before and during an experience.
Where protective equipment is provided, participants must use it as instructed.
Participants must not take part in an activity while under the influence of alcohol, illegal substances or any substance that may impair their ability to participate safely.
If you have a medical condition, injury, pregnancy or other circumstance that may affect your ability to safely participate, you should seek appropriate medical advice and inform us before booking or before the activity begins.
Visit Pertouli may refuse or discontinue participation where continuing the activity would create an unreasonable safety risk.
10. Outdoor and Adventure Activities
Activities such as hiking, trekking, horse riding, ATV riding, skiing and other outdoor experiences naturally involve a degree of risk.
These risks may include uneven terrain, changing weather, animals, vehicles, snow, ice, natural obstacles and other conditions inherent to mountain environments and outdoor activities.
Visit Pertouli and its activity partners take reasonable measures to manage these risks, but it is not possible to eliminate them entirely.
By participating, you acknowledge the nature of the activity and agree to follow all safety instructions provided.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.
11. Children and Minors
Participants under the age of 18 may be subject to additional participation requirements.
Certain activities may require:
- the presence of a parent or legal guardian;
- written parental consent;
- a minimum age, height or weight;
- participation only as a passenger or accompanied participant.
Parents and guardians remain responsible for the supervision of minors except where responsibility has expressly been assumed by the activity provider as part of the service.
12. Third-Party Operators and Suppliers
Some experiences, accommodation, transport or other services displayed or sold through Visit Pertouli may be operated by independent third-party suppliers.
Where Visit Pertouli acts only as an intermediary, the contract for the actual provision of the service may be between you and the relevant supplier.
The identity of the supplier and any supplier-specific conditions will be communicated where applicable.
Visit Pertouli is not responsible for acts or omissions of independent suppliers beyond the extent required by applicable law or where Visit Pertouli is legally responsible as organiser of a package.
13. Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements
Certain combinations of accommodation, transport, activities or other travel services sold through Visit Pertouli may qualify as a package or linked travel arrangement under applicable Greek and European legislation.
Where a booking qualifies as a package, the traveller will receive the legally required pre-contractual information and applicable protections.
These statutory rights apply in addition to these Terms and cannot be restricted by them.
Where mandatory package-travel legislation conflicts with any provision of these Terms, the mandatory legislation prevails.
14. Right of Withdrawal
Under European consumer legislation, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal applicable to many distance contracts does not generally apply to leisure services where the contract provides for performance on a specific date or during a specific period.
Accordingly, bookings for dated tours, activities and experiences are generally subject to the cancellation conditions shown during the booking process rather than a general 14-day cooling-off period.
Any mandatory rights applicable to your particular booking remain unaffected.
15. Late Arrival
Participants should arrive at the meeting point at the time specified in their booking confirmation.
Many activities require arrival before the scheduled departure time for check-in, equipment fitting or safety briefing.
Late arrival may result in reduced participation time or inability to participate where delaying the activity would affect other guests, safety or operations.
In such cases, the booking may be treated as a no-show and a refund may not be available.
16. Personal Belongings
Participants are responsible for their own personal belongings during tours and activities.
Visit Pertouli and its partners cannot accept responsibility for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings except where liability arises under mandatory law.
We recommend avoiding carrying unnecessary valuables during outdoor activities.
17. Travel and Activity Insurance
Visitors are encouraged to maintain appropriate travel and personal insurance suitable for the activities they intend to undertake.
Where an activity requires specific insurance or where insurance is included in the service, this will be stated in the relevant booking information.
18. Information on the Website
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that descriptions, photographs, prices, durations, routes and other information displayed on the website are accurate.
However, outdoor activities and travel services may change due to weather, seasonal conditions, availability or operational circumstances.
Photographs are illustrative and actual conditions, scenery, snow coverage, equipment or routes may differ.
Minor errors or omissions on the website do not create an entitlement to a service that was clearly not intended to be offered.
19. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of the Visit Pertouli website, including text, branding, graphics, photographs, videos, design elements and other material, is owned by or licensed to Visit Pertouli.
Content may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed, republished or commercially exploited without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
20. Photography and Media
Participants are generally welcome to take photographs for personal use unless otherwise instructed for safety, privacy or operational reasons.
Visit Pertouli will not use identifiable photographs or videos of participants for promotional purposes where consent is legally required unless the necessary consent has been obtained.
21. Personal Data
Personal information collected through bookings, enquiries and website use is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.
For further information, please refer to the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available on this website.
22. Complaints
If you experience a problem with a service, please inform Visit Pertouli or the relevant guide/operator as soon as reasonably possible so that an attempt can be made to resolve the issue.
Formal complaints should be submitted in writing using the contact information provided above and should include the booking reference and relevant details.
Consumers may also have access to recognised alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms, including the Greek Consumer Ombudsman, where applicable.
23. Liability
Visit Pertouli will provide its services with reasonable care and skill.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Visit Pertouli will not be liable for loss arising from:
- circumstances outside its reasonable control;
- failure by a participant to follow safety instructions;
- inaccurate information provided by the customer;
- failure to meet stated participation requirements;
- independently arranged transport or other services not included in the booking.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
24. Force Majeure and Extraordinary Circumstances
Visit Pertouli is not responsible for failure or delay in performing a service where this results from unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances beyond reasonable control.
Such circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, wildfire, road closures, government restrictions, strikes, public-health emergencies or other events that make performance impossible or unsafe.
Any refund, rebooking or other rights arising in such circumstances will be determined in accordance with the conditions applicable to the booking and mandatory law.
25. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Greek law and applicable European Union legislation.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers residing in another country of any mandatory consumer protection granted to them by applicable law.
Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction determined by applicable law.
26. Changes to These Terms
Visit Pertouli may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to its services, business practices or legal obligations.
The version applying to a booking will normally be the version in force when the booking was made, except where a change is required by law.
The latest version will always be published on this website with its revision date.
